About Me

Libby Brooks  (they/them) was raised in Raleigh, NC, where they trained in numerous disciplines and was honored to be an artist recognized as a mentee in the Velocity Dance Convention before starting their professional career. They graduated Summa Cum Laude from Point Park University with a BFA in dance as a modern concentration. Their performance opportunities have allowed them to work with professionals such as:  Martha Nichols, Robyn Mineko Williams, Teena Maria Custer, Whitney Bezzant, Andrew Winghart, Jason McDole, Kirsten Russell, and Ashley Gonzales. After college, Libby moved to California where they had the opportunity to model for Uber Eats, and dance for two concept videos, “Dial Drunk” by Isabella Amyot and “Chanel 5” by David Warren.  Libby then moved to Utah to join Odyssey Dance Theater where they were a company member from 2024-2025. During their time with the company they had the opportunity to train in numerous genres such as: samba, jive, salsa, pointe, and lots of partnering. They also got to be apart of three major shows during their year, one being Thriller that they performed 50+ times all over Utah, The Christmas Spectacular SPECTACULAR, and Shut up and Dance. Libby hopes to continue sharing authenticity, honesty, and inclusivity within their artistic journey.
